Divorce it really happens - Is it something for which we should dwell

The choices seem fairly simple - Why stay, if you don’t get along well

Then there’s the queston about the children - Should you stay or go on your way

To fight it out with their mother - Or live to fight another day!!

The kids are the big loser - No matter what you do

It’s too bad they didn’t require tests - For compatability, between me and you

For once the wedding’s over - And children start to come

If the home doesn’t have happiness - It’s a lonely place for some!!

I guess we all should listen - And maybe learn a thing or two

There’s really much more to marriage - Then simply saying, I do

For you start the next generation - A responsibility that is quite big

There’s already enough screwed up children - We need no more, Do you dig?!!

So before you put the ring on - Just remember what I say

It’s a big responsibility - You have to work on it each day

For life might not be easy - But it can be fun for you

Just be a little careful - Before you say, "I do"!!

So please don’t take it lightly - For the damage that you do

Can span for generations - As well as being painful too!!
