We've finished "2005" - Accomplishing much throughout the year
The months move along fast - As the days disappear
We put out the fruit baskets - Thanks to Lions Smith and Hood
They had a lot of help - Of course, we knew they would!!

The same two Lions - Co-chaired the Senior Dinner
I've heard a lot of feedback - It truly was a big winner
We then had the club Christmas Party - Subdued to say the least
Many of the wives joined in - To share in our Christmas feast!!

Now it's on to the Mid Winter - A new Vice Governor we'll elect
Maybe it will be the first woman - I smile at the prospect
For all who have never - Attended the convention, you should
It gives you a different perspective - And new perspectives are good!!

We're now up and running - With Bar Bingo and Meat Raffles too
The Pull Tabs are thriving - Our dollars are starting to accrue
The Gambling Manager - And the Assistant Gambling Manager work hard
It might be time to add another - Assistant Manager on the card!!

I'm bringing it up to the Board - To see what they have to say
Then we'll take it to the membership - To see if they want to pay
We want to give good service - And keep people streaming in
To Joe DiMaggio's bar - So Joe DiMaggio's keeps that grin!!

Don't forget Winter Fest - On January 28th Commons Park
Once again there'll be a bonfire - Petey Borman will provide the spark
They've expanded it this year - So everyone can have some fun
Bring your kids and grandkids - Bring them there and let em run!!

Everyone mark you calendars - February 28th is Governors Night
It will be held at Jax Café - Try to make it, all right
The food will be good - And the speeches short
Take your wife out for dinner - She'll think you quite a sport!!
