Lord you gave me - This word rhyming gift

Now tell me how to use it - For I really need a lift

Everyone has a talent - And this here is mine

I can rhyme anything - In a fraction of time!

But the question for you - Oh please tell me now

I can use it to further - Your message of how

The world seems so sad - And pent up with greed

It can’t go on like this - Spirituality is the need!

Money won’t do it - I hear you loud and clear

I’d like to dedicate my life - To something much more dear

My life has been a journey - And it seems I’m coming home

But Lord I want to serve you - And stop feeling so alone!

You know I have this feeling - That the words you let me rhyme

In the end tell me a story - Of how I should spend my time

So Lord give me the answer - Of what it’s all about

You know I’ll keep on looking - Until I hear you shout!

I saw this movie on TV - Where this guy really died

And went to you in heaven - And reviewed his life and cried

For he had been quite mean - And hurt so many souls

You sent him back for makeup - So he could change his role!

He ended up really changing - And becoming quite a guy

Making amends where he could - And changing every lie

And once again he died - And joined you up above

And you rejected him again - Putting him back, with a shove!

His fear of death was gone - But his message hit my heart

We’re all special spirits - Learning to love before we depart

He said when he shows love - The person feels it strong

And when he showed them hate - He knew that he’d done wrong!

His transformation was beautiful - And Lord please help me feel

I want to serve you always - And help this world to heal

So take me in your loving arms - And help me see the light

I dedicate my life to you - Lord help me with my sight!
