Hey Molner, is it really over, your pension you
have earned
Youve chased and caught the cheaters, from
you, many lessons theyve learned
You possess all the human frailties, except you
pay whats due
You know if you short the IRS, theyll send
someone just like you
I met you in the 80s, at first we didnt
jell
You asked what I did with all that money, you
knew I wouldnt tell
Actually you were quite charming, you and Sack
were such a crew
In fact I used to wonder, howd I end up
with these two
Some guys in government service, lose track of
where they came
They try to act so mean and tough, but that really
wasnt your game
You had a certain quality, in sales, youd
have pulled the wool
But youre such a likable fellow, as long
as theyre taxes were paid in full
I know I hold the record, because you had to buy
me lunch
I had no money or credit cards, I really beat
you to the punch
It really burned your dander, and you kinda lost
your cool
You didnt mind buying lunch for me, but
God, it was against the rule!!
I really wish you all the best, for you worked
so hard these many years
And though you cost me lots of dough, Id
still buy you some beers
You never took it personally, but went strictly
by the book
If they dared cheat on their taxes, you treated
them like a crook
So whatever life may send you, recall the days
gone by
When you were chasing Jack and Erv, remember us
with a sigh
For as time goes marching down the road, were
all well aged and wise
But Ill never forget the 80s, it actually
brings a tear to my eyes
So whether you know it, or if you dont,
a legacys been left by you
Wed all better pay our taxes, or someone
will turn the screw
So happy retirement to you Big Jim, but I wonder
whats up next
Life has a way of bringing a surprise, and none
of us knows the text!!
