We’re giving them all away - To let everybody
know
That Florist’s are good neighbors - And
really want to share
The beauty which they offer - Because they really
care!
We picked a month thats really slow - When growers
have to dump
They have too much product - We thought we’d
help their slump
So we try to do a favor - With the schedule
of our show
We inquire and do advertising - We let everybody
know!
When our wholesaler called you, the grower -
And asked for 5000 red
You got all excited - And you raised your prices
instead
He told you of the promotion - You said you
didn’t care
I hope you were just being cavalier - Because
you’re weren’t aware!
Correct me if I’m wrong - We’re partners
in this game
If all of us get greedy - It seems a little
insane?
As florist’s, we’re always working
- To get our customers in the know!
The more flowers that they buy - Helps all of
the industry grow!!
You growers are always yelling - More tarrifs
do we need
The South Americans are killing us - They’re
so full of greed
Life could be so easy - If we’d all just
understand
It really isn’t silly - To lend a helping
hand!
Valentines day isn’t easy - Our customers
scream in pain
The price of roses suddenly jump - But the florist
makes little gain
But still we keep on pushing - And promoting
the lovely rose
So come on, work with us - Don’t snub your
nose!
Good Neighbor Day is simple - It’s a recognition
day
You’re given a dozen roses - Keep one,
and give eleven away
People are really excited - A rose that’s
actually free
We don’t have the heart to tell them -
Our growers just don’t see!!
So come on, let’s get going - All three
of us can thrive
Growers, wholesalers and florists - As one,
we should strive
To help people gain appreciation - For the beauty
we grow and sell
At the end of each successful year - We’ll
ALL stand up and yell!!!
