It’s easy to rant - Criticizing others beliefs
When you don’t think for yourself - You’re
living like a thief
Are you conservative or liberal - What difference
does it make
If you think with some logic - Life won’t
seem like a mistake!
Lets face it my friend - To get elected takes
votes
Each of us has one - So the politicians take note
If you listen to their rhetoric - And think for
yourself
Not a hell of a lot will happen - That will give
any of us great wealth!
Let’s talk about abortion - Does it really
make sense
For you to stick your nose in - Or philosophically
ride the fence
Though it may not be popular - Lets agree to disagree
If she doesn’t think like you do - And want
to be a mother to be!
And what about welfare - Someone has to pay
But we also shouldn’t let welfare - Go on
day after day
If you want to get some money - Then you must
perform some work
You’ll not only regain self respect - You
won’t be such a jerk!
But one thing I know for certain - Our soldiers
must surely know
They must respect their commander - Or throw down
their uniforms and go
To keep on yapping - "But he refused to serve"
That truth is gone forever - Stop trying to hit
that nerve!
Obviously a majority - Like what he has done
Now, stop crying about it - This race has been
won
If you really analyze - And cut the hatred from
your thoughts
Life wouldn’t seem so helpless - Show some
love, like you were taught!
Now I’ll close with a little story - This
Jar Head who couldn’t quit
Smoking his nasty cigarettes - Leaving a stench
upon his lips
He’d actually sneak his toothpaste - Using
snow to rinse his mouth
So his bride wouldn’t find out - And tell
him to head south!
Is this someone you’d consider - To judge
what you have done
My thoughts exactly, Booby - Not a loser, but
someone who’s won
So my advice to you my friend - Think for yourself
using logic for a match
And taking the process a little farther - Go get
yourself a nicotine patch!!!
