Merry Christmas Everybody!
Christmas is a time of renewal – Touching
base with that old friend
Our lives get so busy – News of the year,
we might send
Wondering why, then forgetting – We didn’t
get in touch
Throughout the year just ending – The effort
was just too much!!
So at Christmas we bite the bullet – And
send everyone a rhyme
Filling them in on events – But not taking
very much time
Just to let you know – That we’d like
to see you all
Though you seldom hear from us – We thought
maybe you would call!!
Guess you were also busy – Believe me, we
understand
But maybe this will be the year – When our
lives will have less demand
Then we’ll get together – And talk about
days gone by
When all of us were busy – And how the time
did fly!!
We’ve had a good year – And we’re
both in good shape
We had one trip to Vegas – Which was our
only escape
We’re still working long hours – Why
not, it’s still fun
Bud’s writing rhymes – When Marcia doesn’t
have him on the run!!
Next year is Europe – We’ve got to get
away
Holland in March – That’ll be our first
foray
We’ll visit some growers – Maybe make
a new friend
Expand our Christmas Card list – Then we’ll
have more to send!!
